The 2010 – 2020 Framework for a Thriving Stanislaus is a plan created by a large group of individuals and public and private organizations to coordinate community efforts to improve the health of our county and well being of our citizens. The Framework for a Thriving Stanislaus is a living plan, which means it is constantly being updated as needed. School Immunization
Law Change
A new school immunization law requires all students entering 7th through 12th grades in the 2011-2012 school year in California to be immunized with a pertussis (whooping cough)
vaccine booster called Tdap. You can find more information at www.ShotsForSchool.org!
The Tdap vaccine is available at Public Health located at 820 Scenic Drive in Modesto. No appointments are necessary and the hours are:
- Monday - Wednesday: 8am - 5pm
- Thursday: 8am - 6:30pm
- Friday: 8 - 11am and 1 - 4pm (closed for lunch)
