Bring your cheery smile and customer service skills to the Stanislaus County Health Services Agency (HSA) Gift Shop. Volunteers assist customers with sales, operate the cash register, wrap gifts, and help maintain an attractive display of merchandise and general store appearance. The Gift Shop is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and flexible 3 to 4 hour volunteer shifts are available. Volunteers with computer skills are also needed in the Residency Program to assist residents and other medical staff with filing, copying, mail distribution, informational packet assembly, medical procedure documentation, and transfer medical information from one database to another. Volunteers must be familiar with databases and the Internet, be proficient and accurate when entering data, and have good communication skills. The HSA is a network of outpatient medical programs and services providing health care, information, and support to the community.
