Mosquito-killing pyrethrin is scheduled to be sprayed by truck from 3 to 4:30 a.m. Wednesday in the third of four targeted areas in Modesto. The accompanying map shows the spray area for Wednesday. The East Side Mosquito Abatement District plans ground spraying in the fourth quadrant early Thursday. Residents are advised to close windows and turn off window-unit air conditioners when spraying is taking place in the immediate area.
