  Mother And Daughter Workshops To Address Sensitive Topics
   
 
   
  Stanislaus County – The Stanislaus County Health Services Agency is presenting a special workshop designed for mothers and daughters. The program called Heart-to-Heart, is open to girls age 13 - 17 and their mother or adult guardian. The focus of the program is on communication techniques to help address sensitive topics. Workshop topics will include communication techniques, encouraging abstinence, sexually transmitted diseases and birth control.

This interactive workshop will be presented at two different dates and times with both presentations identical: August 14 from 6:00 - 8:30 p.m. at the McHenry Medical Office at 2501 E. McHenry Avenue; and August 16 from 6:00 - 8:30 p.m. at the King Kennedy Center in Modesto.

The workshop, including dinner, is presented free of charge.

The Stanislaus County Health Services Agency (HSA) is an outpatient medical system with 9 medical offices located throughout Stanislaus County.
