County – The Stanislaus Health television program will be featuring
a special episode focused on childhood obesity to be aired during the month
of March. The program is a partnership of the Health Services Agency Foundation
of Stanislaus County and the Stanislaus County Health Services Agency. The
show is just finishing the February episode which is a focus on children’s
health issues.
The program airs on Channel 7 on the Comcast system and Channel 19 on
the Charter system.
The show is scheduled to air five days per week.
Air times are:
- Monday 6:30 p.m.
- Tuesday 8 a.m.
- Thursday 8 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
- Saturday 7 p.m.
The childhood obesity episode features a statewide health expert on childhood
obesity, a registered dietitian showing examples of healthy food choices
for children, and an activity segment that shows how to engage young children
with fun activities.
