County – The Health Services Agency Foundation of Stanislaus County
is holding the 9th annual String of Pearls Charity Gala to raise money for
healthcare in Stanislaus County. There will be music, dancing food and Monte
Carlo-style gaming. Games will include roulette, craps and blackjack. Prizes
will be awarded during the evening.
The event will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2005 at the Sky Trek
Aviation hangar at the Modesto Airport. Doors open and hors d’oeuvres
service begins at 6 p.m. with dinner service and gaming beginning at 7
p.m. There will be continuous dancing throughout the evening to the music
spun by Marquis Entertainment. Tickets are $75 for the event. A Texas
Hold ‘em tournament will also be held for an additional charge of
$35. The tournament is limited to the first 30 entrants.
The HSA Foundation is looking for $750 sponsors to underwrite the cost
of the event.
The HSA Foundation has raised over $850,000 for the county’s Health
